Websites to find good resources for science fair topics:
1)
Sciseek: This is a search engine specifically for good science sources.
2)
Online Journal Search Engine: This has lots of journals and online databases all science geared. You may need to play around a little with the various choices available, because there are many things to choose from.
3)
ECRP: If your topic is specifically learning related, here is a good site for learning journals.
4.)
EBSCOhost - Academic Search Premier Use to find journal articles. On the search page, make sure that both the "Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals" and "Full Text" boxes are checked to find full-text journal articles. This is part of INFOhio's EBSCO database, so it will require the INFOhio username/password to use from home.
6).
Email Mrs. Hoffman - Send Mrs. Hoffman if you are having trouble finding sources, or for additional research tips.
Example of Investigative Question/Purpose/Hypothesis: (Should all be on a single page with your name in the header)
Investigative

household objects and appliances contain the most amounts of
bacteria?
Purpose:
Finding and knowing which objects and appliances contain the most
bacteria will encourage the public to be more aware of the harmful
bacteria in their homes. This experiment will help to support washing
your hands and cleaning bacteria-filled areas in the home.
Hypothesis:
It is hypothesized that the kitchen sink and the toilet contain the
most bacteria out of all the tested appliances and objects.
